Project Description
Government - Miscellaneous Building Construction of a new Vocational Complex at the Potomac Job Corps Center located in Washington, DC. The work will include three (3) separate structures designated as Buildings A, B, and C. Designs illustrate Building A as located at the east side of the Vocational Complex, and Buildings B and C are located at the west side. Buildings B and C are each 6,200 gross square feet and Building A is 19,700 gross square feet, resulting in an overall total of 32,100 gross square feet. Each building is comprised of identical modules, grouped in mirror plan fashion. Building A has five (5) modules and Buildings B and C each have two (2) modules. Each module contains vocational spaces as well as educational classroom spaces. The building construction is structural steel frame with exposed steel roof framing and metal deck. The interior and exterior are predominately nonbearing masonry walls. The project also includes roads, parking, drainage, all utility services and site/security lighting.
