Project Description
Military - Miscellaneous Design/Build of a one story, high bay steel framed addition with pitched metal standing seam roof and insulation set on a reinforced concrete floor slab and foundations.This project is an addition to the existing receiving and storage Bldg 170. This project will construct a modern, state-of-the-art, submarine component facility that will enhance the Navy's ability to receive, inspect, and distribute submarine components worldwide in support of the fleetProject Description:The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and transportation to perform all work described in the specifications.Contractor will design and construct a one story, high bay steel framed addition with pitched metal standing seam roof and insulation set on a reinforced concrete floor slab and foundations. This construction also includes utility services, fire suppression, alarm and security systems, loading dock equipment, staging areas and scale. This 4,027 square meter (43,346 SF) addition to Bldg 170 will consolidate storage of submarine components from other facilities
