Project Description
Rehabilitation Center,Prison A New, 45-Bed Mental Health Treatment Facilty For Female Correctional Inmates Including 45 Inmate Cells, Dining Area, Dayrooms, Staff Offices, Health & Psychological Services Areas And Space For Visitations, Recreation, Treatment And Education, Storage and General Support Facilities In general the work consists of constructing a new 51,000 square foot Female Treatment Facility. The building will be one story tall with separate wings based on the level of treatment. Construction will consist of architectural precast exterior walls, concrete slab on grade with concrete frost walls and footings and precast roof construction with EPDM roof. New plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems will be provided with a mechanical mezzanine located in the center of the building and within a new mechanical room adjacent to the existing building. This is a secure facility with most of the construction occurring outside the existing secure perimeter until the new secure fence is completed. Work within the secure perimeter will be required for building and utility extensions and connections to the existing building.
