Project Description
Park Building Improving the energy efficiency of concession employee and visitor lodging at Stehekin will reduce energy consumption, energy costs, and greenhouse gas emissions. This contract is to upgrade six NPS-owned buildings with energy-efficient doors, windows, and lighting and heating technologies. Doors will be replaced with insulated, code compliant fire-rated, ENERGY STAR-qualified doors; windows will be replaced with ENERGY STAR-qualified multi-pane windows; water heaters will be replaced with high efficiency gas or electric types (demand or tankless are acceptable); incandescent lighting fixtures will be replaced with fluorescent or LED fixtures; thermostats will be replaced with programmable units; and wall furnaces will be replaced with ENERGY STAR-qualified furnaces or heat pumps
