Project Description
Government - Miscellaneous Building In General The Communication Arts (CART) Building Project Consists Of The Renovation Of Approximately 32,000 SF Of The Existing 4 Story Masonry Building And Two Additions Totaling Approximately 64,000 SF. New Program Spaces Include A 250 Seat Music Recital Hall, Rehearsal Rooms And Practice Areas In One Of The Additions, And A Black Box And Theater Support Spaces In The Other Addition. In Addition To The Main Scope Of Work Associated With The CART Building, The Project Remodels Approximately 5,500 SF For Classrooms In Wyllie Hall And Approximately 9,500 SF For Art Laboratory Space In Molinaro Hall. The Project Provides An Approximately 1,200 SF Support Building For The Sculpture Program Detached From The Main Campus And Located East Of Wood Road. Associated Sitework Includes Landscaping And Hardscaping Adjacent To The Communications Arts Wing And Realignment Of Portions Of The Roadway And Parking Area To The West And South Of The Communication Arts Wing.
