Project Description
Water Treatment,Sewage Treatment The Timpanogos Wastewater Treatment Plant will be expanded modified and rehabilitated by the Work of this Project. The capacity of the plant will be increased from 18.3 million gallons per day (MGD) to 30 MGD. The project generally includes the following facilities: new headworks building with flow measurement screening and grit removal; new influent pump station; conversion of eight existing oxidation ditches into bioreactors with partition walls submerged mixers submersible pumps and diffused aeration; two new blower buildings; two new secondary clarifiers; new return activated sludge (RAS) pump station and building; modifications to two existing RAS pump stations; new low pressure high output ultraviolet (UV) light disinfection system with building; rehabilitated utility water pump station; new solids dewatering building with dry polymer system pumps belt filter presses and conveyor systems; new maintenance building with offices locker rooms service bays and wash bays; new electrical building with emergency generators; and related demolition sitework yard piping landscaping sidewalks electrical work and instrumentation and control system work.
