Details:The Project will consolidate all 443 (MH) Squadron operations into one facility. The new facility will consist of an operations and maintenance hangar providing storage for 5 aircraft (in folded wing configuration), two spread-wing maintenance bays, an interior spread-wing wash and maintenance bay, and associated maintenance shops. In addition to administrative and personnel support facilities, the new hangar will provide warehousing, maintenance shop, and work space for in-service support. Exterior provisions include ramp areas, taxiway, rinse bay, re-fuelling area, access roadways, parking lot and service area. The project will also include the design and contract documents for: the removal of hazardous materials and the demolition of Building 11, the removal of hazardous materials in the existing Hangar and buildings 116/117, and the decontamination of the existing DND leased land.
