Bifolding Composite Doors - 08 16 76
Bifold doors work in pairs, usually with two doors folding to one side or four doors splitting in the center and folding back. They offer the advantage of opening to almost 100 percent of the space they cover.
Like most other sliding doors, the weight of a bifold door is borne entirely by the top rail, and the bottom rail is merely a guide.
They are designed for closets, pantries, and folding doors between rooms.

Tips on Estimating Bifolding Composite Door Costs from RSMeans
If the drawings do not include a door schedule, it may be worth the estimator’s time to develop one, especially if the project is large or complicated. The schedule should indicate the opening number, door type, size material, glass or louver requirements, and remarks. The door schedule should include a frame schedule listing the frame material, type, and jamb, head, and sill details. |
