Cork flooring is durable, impermeable, naturally flame retardant and easily maintained. It is comfortable under foot offering warmth and insulation. It is aesthetically pleasing as it is available in a variety of colors and patterns. Cork flooring is environmentally friendly in that it is made of bark that is gently peeled from oak trees every nine years. Trees are not cut down or harmed in any way as they regenerate the bark.
