Electric Boilers are closed vessels in which liquid is heated or vaporized by the direct application of heat in the form of electricity. Heat is applied by bringing water in contact with electric elements or by immersing electrodes directly into the water. Small in size, electric boilers ar designed into a system as a standby unit or for a specified purpose. Since no combustion occurs, boiler combustion chambers and flue openings are unnecessary.
