HVAC Air Cleaning Devices - 23 40 00
Used with HVAC systems, air cleaners are designed to remove impurities such as dust, smoke or fumes from the air. Airborne particles become electrically charged as they flow through a charged screen in the air cleaner. The charged particles become attracted to one of two charged plates in the cleaning system, and as air continues to circulate, the particles are collected on the plates.
