Fluorescent Luminaires are lighting fixtures designed to use fluorescent lamps. Fluorescent lamps produce light by activating selected phosphors on the inner surface of a bulb with ultraviolet energy. Fluorescent lamps are more energy efficient and longer lasting than incandescent lamps. They also have low surface brightness and generate minimal heat.
