Window Shades - 12 24 00

Shades consist of a continuous piece of material hung from a ratcheted, spring-activated roller or headrail. The material can be coiled around the roller or drawn up to the headrail by drawstrings.
Shades are mounted to the interior of a window frame inside a structure. They are used to provide privacy, darken a room or to reduce the amount of sunlight entering through a window.

Tips on Estimating Window Shade Costs from RSMeans
Do not assume that items covered in Furnishings will be purchased and installed outside of your contract, especially if any furnishings or typical arrangements are shown on the drawings. This could be a costly assumption. Check all drawings and specifications for these items, and if any are found, check for the terms “NIC” (Not In Contract) or “By Others.” If these or similar terms are not present, it is safe to conclude that these items are in your scope of work. |
