Air Source Unitary Heat Pumps - 23 81 43
Heat Pumps are reversible refrigeration systems in which heat is transferred from one place to another. When heating is needed, a liquid refrigerant such as Freon is pumped through a coil that is located outsisde the physical space that requires heat. The refrigerant is cold so it absorbs heat from the outside air which is hotter than itself. The refrigerant then flows into a compresor in which its temperature and pressure are raised high enough that it becomes a vapor. The vapor then flows to an indoor coil from which heat is radiated or blown into...
Tips on Estimating Air Source Unitary Heat Pump Costs from RSMeans
Review all construction documentation before proceeding with the estimate for HVAC. It is not unusual to find items on the plans, but not in the specifications; or they may be in the specifications but not on the drawings. Also check any and all communications; the owner may have requested a change or expressed a concern or a specific need, and not have had it included in your drawings or specifications. |
