There are three types of fuel piping. All three must meet UL971 standards. Fiberglass is the original pipe used. Flexible and Semi-flexible pipe has been introduced. Although unproven over time and slightly more expensive than fiberglass it is becoming more popular in the industry due to ease of installation.
