PYRO-GUARD

Pyro-Guard treated wood (FRTW) is pressure impregnated lumber, engineered to provide fire performance for enclosed structural applications. Unlike coatings, which provide only superficial protection, Pyro-Guard hinders combustion and insulates the wood against continuing damage from fire, providing a low rate of fuel contribution and maintaining structural integrity longer than many other building products. UL rated and tested to ASTM E84, Pyro-Guard meets the building code flamespread requirement of 25 or less. Pyro-Guard uses include:

EXTERIOR FIRE-X

Exterior Fire-X is pressure-impregnated, fire-retardant lumber and plywood that provides fire protection for indoor and outdoor applications directly exposed to the weather or high humidity. UL rated and tested to ASTM E84, Exterior Fire-X lumber and plywood has a flamespread of 25 or less. Uses include:
