ISIMET Utility Controllers enhance classroom safety in school science lab applications by enabling instructors to activate or deactivate specific classroom utilities as needed during the school day. Utilities remain off when not in use and are shut down automatically after hours. In an emergency, an integrated panic button can be pressed that will deactivate all classroom utilities. A local emergency reset avoids classroom delays after the emergency has passed.

ISIMET E-Series Electrical Enclosures provide the electrical contacts for the necessary electrical circuits. Each contact point utilizes a master relay to control electrical outlets in the science classroom.

Enclosures accept surface, flush or semi-recessed mounting and are available in a variety of standard models. Dimensions, amperage and mounting style vary by model:

• Widths: 12", 14", 16" and 18"

• Amp load per pole: 20 amps
• Number of poles: 4 - 24
• Total amperage: 80 – 480 amps

Enclosures are pre-assembled and pre-wired to accommodate 120V operation. The enclosure door is made of welded 14-gauge sheet metal. Door latch options include screw driver latch, keyed lock and hand knob types. Finish options include white powder coat, gray powder coat and gray powder coat with stainless steel door and trim.
