Product Description, Applications
FlexHead Industries, Inc. manufactures flexible stainless steel hose assemblies that connect sprinkler heads to the branch lines. These systems install in a quarter of the time of hard pipe armovers, and sprinkler heads can be easily relocated, inspected and maintained. With no rigid joints between the branch line and the head, the flexible connection is impervious to building motion, even in seismically active areas. It remains completely watertight under the most rigorous conditions.

With any contractor-installed sprinkler head of choice, this pressure/leak tested system is available in 2' – 6' (0.6 – 1.8 m) hose lengths, making it ideal for any commercial, institutional, duct or cleanroom application. In addition, FlexHead® both minimizes the cost and simplifies the labor required to bring unsprinklered buildings up to code. It installs in minutes, even in the most restrictive of spaces.

• All products included in 2007 NFPA 13 Fire Code
• Commercial products are approved for use with light, medium and heavy load grids (ASTM C635, C636)
• All products are rated up to 175 or 300 psi (1205 or 2067 kPa)
• All products are International Building Code (IBC) compliant for sprinklers installed in seismic design classes C, D, E and F
• Commercial product is FM approved and UL listed for suspended ceiling and gypsum board ceiling installations
