Rediframe® & Rediflex® Products Prefinished Steel Door Frames

Rediframe® and Rediflex® prefinished steel door frames are designed for installation after all wall finishes are completed.

Product Description, Applications
Rediframe® and Rediflex® prefinished steel door frames are knock-down door frames designed for installation in drywall partition stud walls.

REDIFRAME®
Rediframe is offered in a broad range of frame types, including single swing, pair door, cased opening, communicating, Dutch, pocket, transom, borrowed lites and side lites. They accommodate 1 3/8" and 1 3/4" (35 and 44 mm) doors and a variety of glazing types. Single swing and pair door frames are available in standard or kerfed profiles.

Rediframe is installed after the drywall or plaster has been applied and is demountable without damaging the finished wall, door or frame. Rediframe can be used in nearly any commercial steel or wood door application.

REDIFLEX®
The Rediflex framing system offers all the features of the Rediframe and is adjustable. It is designed to accommodate 4" – 12 1/4" (102 – 311 mm) (kerfed 12 1/2") wall sizes, with a minimum 1" (25.4 mm) adjustment and is available in standard or kerfed profiles.

Construction, Materials, Finishes
REDIFRAME
Rediframe frame components are fabricated from ASTM A366 commercial quality cold rolled steel or ASTM A653 galvanized (A40) steel in 18 or 20 gauge. Rediframe is available in 17 standard wall sizes, ranging from 2 5/8" – 13"(67 – 330 mm), and over 70 custom profiles.

Finish or prime paint is electrostatically applied, baked-on enamel in standard Rediframe Brown, Ivory, Bright White, Grey Prime and White Prime. Optional colors include Light Grey, Mojave Brown, Tan, Black and Alusteel.

REDIFLEX
Rediflex frame components are fabricated from ASTM A366 commercial quality cold rolled steel or ASTM A653 galvanized (A40) steel in 18 or 20 gauge. Rediflex wall sizes range from 4" – 12 1/4" (102 – 311 mm) (kerfed 12 1/2"). Available in 18 or 20 gauge.

The Universal Hinge Prep is a unique, patented hinge emboss that can accommodate a steel entry door from any manufacturer.

Adjustable ASA strike (standard) is a specially designed strike emboss and back-up plate which allows for 1/16" (1.6 mm) adjustment — no grinding strike plate (patented).

Use with standard steel, aluminum, or S56 Steel Colonial casing (2 1/4" (57 mm)). Use with custom wood casing for a unique look.
