Revolving door entrances typically consist of four leaves, mounted at right angles to each other, that rotate around a vertical axis within a cylindrical enclosure.

Their principal advantage to standard building entrance doors is the ability to carry a continuous, two-way flow of pedestrian traffic while limiting the exchange of air between the interior and exterior space.

Typical applications include:

  • Office towers and mixed-use facilities
  • Hotels and motels
  • Apartment and condominium towers
