The first time you sign in to MeansCostWorks.com, you will be directed to set your estimate preferences. At any time you can change your preferences by clicking the My Account tab and then clicking the Preferences link. When this screen displays, it is populated with data that you defined the first time that you used the system or as you have updated the screen with new information. Any changes to this screen are displayed when you re-display the screen.

You will be able to set your cost data preferences as well as default markup percentages.
