The List Button Within the Project Detail View
When you have generated a List View from your Search, you will click into a Project to look at the Project’s Detail View (above).
To get back to your List View, use the List button (in the red circled area). Do not use your browser’s Back button at this point.
However, there will be instances where you do want to use the browser’s Back button. Say you have scrolled down in the Project Detail to the Project Participants:
Here you can click onto the Link to one of the Project Participants which will open up the Company Detail:
When you have completed looking at the Company Detail you now want to use your browser’s Back button to get back to the Project Detail (do not use the List button here). The reason for this is because you have moved from the Project information (which was your original search) to the Company information. You do not have a List View of Companies at this point. Your search was for Project information, you obtained a List View of Projects and you were looking at the Project Detail.
The way to remember when to use the List button and when to use the browser’s Back button is to remember where you started.
If your search was on the Project side then you will use the List button in the Project Detail to get back to the List View of Projects.
If your initial search is for Company information and you obtain a List View of Companies then when you go into the Company Detail, you will want to use the List button in the Company Detail to get back to your List View of Companies.
You use the browser’s Back button when you have moved from your original set of search results to another Detail page. Then, once back in the Detail of your Project or Company, you use the List button to get back to the original List you generated from your search.
